Roman Dykun MDDr. Roman Dykun has practiced ear, nose, and throat and head and neck surgery in McHenry, Lake and Kane counties since 1982. He attended medical school and residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery school at the University of Toronto. There he also completed a fellowship in ear, nose and throat allergy and was awarded the R.I. Harris Award for surgery. At the completion of his studies he attained fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons, as well as board certification in the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

For nearly 30 years, Dr. Dykun has practiced general otolaryngology in the Chicago suburbs. His greatest interests are in the fields of pediatric otolaryngology and allergic naso-sinus disease, where he has authored several articles and presentations on these subjects. During the early years of his practice he was a lecturer at Hines V.A. Hospital, affiliated with Loyola Medical Center. Furthermore, for over two decades he conducted pediatric ear and voice clinics for school children under the auspices of the University of Illinois (D.S.C.C.)

Dr. Dykun has assumed a variety of leadership positions in the medical field. He has served on the Board of Directors of both Centegra Hospital - Woodstock and Centegra Hospital - McHenry, and was also elected Vice Chairman of Surgery at Centegra Hospital - McHenry. Presently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the McHenry County Physicians Organization, which consists of nearly 200 physicians who practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
